Collection: Bigwind

Mauro Fariñas is the ceramist behind Bigwind. He studied art in Spain and Finland before moving to Berlin. After several years doing ceramics on the side, he joined the Working Artist program at Ceramic Kingdom in 2021, where he currently creates and teaches. Mauro’s ceramics are highly informed by processes, combining tools and techniques. He favors vases, as each work can present a new chance for experimentation while remaining grounded on their functionality.
