These bowls are named after the ancient temple at Skorba, on artist Tiziana Schembri's island home of Malta.

Skorba's ancient pottery remnants may have been used for ritual offerings to the gods of antiquity.

These Skorba snacking bowls are more fitting for offerings of spiced nuts or pitted fruits to dinner guests.

These bowls feature a textured surface on the outside and a silky, milky glaze on the interior. A subtle foot lifts the bowl ever so slightly off the surface, giving it the impression of floating. Heavenly.

Because this item is handmade, small variations in size and details are possible. That's part of the joy of ceramics.
